Important note What happened to update Rollup 9 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011?Update Rollup 9 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 will not be released because of a delay in the Q2 Service Update. Update Rollup 10 fixes all the issues that would have been included in Update Rollup 9. Microsoft publishes updates for Microsoft Dynamics CRM (called Rollups) every two months. At the time of writing, CRM 4.0 Rollup 21 is available. For CRM 2011, rollup 18 is available. For CRM 2013, rollup 3 is available which was introduced after an SP1 releases.


On Sept. 16, 2014, Microsoft announced that Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015, as well as updates to its Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and Microsoft Dynamics Marketing services, will be generally available in the fourth quarter of 2014. Microsoft also released a preview guide with details. On Nov 30, 2014 Microsoft announced the general availability of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 and the 2015 Update of Microsoft Dynamics Marketing.[12] On Jan 6, 2015, Microsoft announced the availability of a CRM Cloud service specifically for US Government that is designed for FedRAMP compliance.[13]

Apply this update rollup on computers that are running Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Server components or Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Office Outlook components. If you have not installed Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) 4.5, an Internet connection is required to install Update Rollup 21 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Office Outlook. This is because you must download MSI 4.5. You must restart computers that are running Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Office Outlook after you install Update Rollup 21.Notes


Note If you installed this language pack previously, you must unprovision the language pack, install Update Rollup 21 on computers that are running MUI, and then reprovision the language pack. When you unprovision the language pack, all Microsoft Dynamics CRM users who use that language will have their language settings reverted to the base language. When you reprovision the language pack, users' language settings are not updated. Update Rollups includes fixes and sometimes new features. You may also see reference to new features as a release number, for example, R7.
